E-Bridge Pre-School Pte Ltd (“E-Bridge”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is committed to protecting the personal data entrusted to us and managing such personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) and other applicable laws.

As an early childhood education provider, much of the personal data collected by E-Bridge relates to students and is generally provided by parents or legal guardians. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that the personal data provided to E-Bridge is accurate, complete and up to date. 

 

Where you provide us with personal data relating to another individual, you represent that you have obtained the necessary authority and consent (where required) to provide such personal data to E-Bridge for the purposes set out in this Statement. 

 

 

HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA 

We may collect personal data from a variety of sources, including directly from individuals, through their interactions with us, through educational and school-related activities, through digital platforms and systems, from third parties and through security and monitoring systems: 

 

Directly from you – Personal data may be collected directly from you through forms, applications, correspondence, meetings, interviews, telephone conversations, emails and other interactions with us. 

 

Through educational, school and business activities – Personal data may be collected in connection with educational programmes, school activities, events, assessments, recruitment processes and other activities relating to our operations. 

 

Through digital platforms and systems – Personal data may be collected through our website, mobile applications, parent communication platforms, student management systems and other digital platforms used by E-Bridge.

PURPOSES FOR COLLECTION, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

Student Admissions and Administration – Managing enquiries and registration, applications, admissions, enrolment, student records, attendance, billing and other administrative matters relating to students. 

 

Educational Services – Delivering educational programmes and services, supporting student learning and development, conducting assessments, maintaining educational records, and supporting educational administration and service improvement. 

 

Health, Safety and Student Welfare – Supporting student wellbeing, safeguarding, health and safety, managing medical and dietary needs, and responding to emergencies. 

 

Parent, Community and School Engagement – Communicating with parents and guardians, organising school activities and events, managing feedback and enquiries, and providing information regarding programmes, services, events and activities offered by E-Bridge and other EtonHouse Group entities, and where applicable, authorised external partners. 

 

School Communications, Publications and Publicity – Creating learning documentation and student portfolios, preparing school communications and publications, and documenting and promoting school activities, events and achievements. 

 

Marketing purposes – Managing and/or administering your request to receive news (including events and product/service launches), promotions and marketing information from us (and/or our affiliates or related entities) and on our group services, and sending you news, promotions and marketing information. 

 

Employment, Legal, Regulatory and Operational Purposes – Managing recruitment and employment matters, complying with legal and regulatory requirements, conducting audits and investigations, and supporting governance, risk management and business operations. 

 

E-Bridge may use appropriate digital technologies, including artificial intelligence-enabled tools, to support the purposes described in this Statement. Where such technologies process personal data on our behalf, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that such processing complies with applicable laws and our data protection requirements. 

 

 

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

  • EtonHouse International Holdings Pte Ltd and other affiliated entities where necessary for educational, administrative, operational, governance or compliance purposes; 

 

E-Bridge requires third parties handling personal data on its behalf to implement reasonable measures to protect personal data and to comply with applicable data protection requirements. 

 

 

OVERSEAS TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA 

E-Bridge may transfer, store or process personal data outside Singapore where necessary and permitted for our educational, administrative, operational or business purposes. 

 

Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, E-Bridge will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect the personal data. 

 

 

PROTECTION AND RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA 

E-Bridge takes reasonable steps to protect personal data in its possession or under its control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. 

 

E-Bridge implements reasonable administrative, physical and technical measures to safeguard personal data, which may include access controls, authentication measures, secure storage arrangements, staff confidentiality obligations, data protection policies and procedures, cybersecurity measures and contractual safeguards with service providers. 

 

E-Bridge retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal or regulatory requirements, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the personal data and applicable requirements. When personal data is no longer required, E-Bridge will take reasonable steps to securely delete, destroy or anonymise it. 

 

Anonymised Data – E-Bridge may anonymise personal data so that it can no longer be used to identify an individual. Such anonymised data may be retained and used for purposes such as statistical analysis, research, service improvement and other legitimate business purposes.
