Our Approach

Image of Child

At E-bridge Pre-School, the child is at the cornerstone of everything that we do. Our ‘image of child’ guides our philosophy, curriculum, and environment design as well as our training and recruitment.  We view children as competent thinkers and communicators. They are:
  • Curious
  • Communicative
  • Capable
  • Confident
  • Respected

Educators of E-Bridge pre school.

Our teachers are a community of lifelong learners who are committed to partnering with colleagues, children, and families to create genuinely responsive and meaningful learning for your child. They recognise the importance of observing each child within a socio-cultural context and using inquiry and exploration as central modes of learning. They make teaching and learning visible as they invest time and effort into developing deeply reflective pedagogical documentation.

Learning Environment

We believe the environment is the third teacher and is a reflection of the philosophy and pedagogy that the school subscribes to. Our environment is intentionally designed to inspire exploration, collaboration and creativity. When you walk into the classroom, you will see materials and provocations placed intentionally and purposefully to spark curiosity and conversations. Documentations are also beautifully displayed in the classroom and along walkways, reflecting that child is central in each decision-making process.

Collaboration with families

Parents are children’s first teachers, and school is an extension of their home life. We view parents as equal partners in children’s education and recognise the relationships, cultures and experiences that are important to your child. With this belief in mind, we work hand in hand with parents to support children’s learning and development and encourage parent involvement which is reflected in our open-door policy.
