What Makes E-Bridge Pre-School Upper Serangoon Unique?
Where warmth, openness, and strong relationships create a thriving community
An Open Concept That Connects Us All
At E-Bridge Pre-School Upper Serangoon, our open-concept layout is more than a design — it reflects our culture. The visibility between classrooms and shared spaces fosters natural collaboration among educators. Whether it’s a casual exchange of ideas, shared laughter, or a helping hand, our team is always within reach — creating a safe, joyful environment where children and educators thrive together.
This openness nurtures not just teamwork, but a deep sense of belonging for everyone in our centre.
A Close-Knit, Caring Team
Our teaching team is known for its warmth, trust, and unity. We laugh together, support one another, and celebrate each other’s growth. Through strong communication and mutual respect, we’ve built a positive, empowering culture where educators feel valued — and every child is genuinely cared for.
Our team embraces reflective practice, continuously evolving to meet children’s needs with purpose and heart.
A Culture That Cares for Educators
We believe well-being fuels great teaching. At Upper Serangoon, we prioritise staff wellness and work-life balance. Open communication, leadership support, and a culture of shared learning are the pillars of our environment.
From everyday challenges to professional breakthroughs, our educators lift each other up — because when teachers feel good, children benefit most.
Strong Partnerships with Parents
Families are essential partners in our children’s learning journey. We maintain open, two-way communication — sharing regular updates, welcoming feedback, and involving parents in meaningful ways.
Our active Parent Support Group (PSG) co-hosts joyful events like Family Day, Children’s Day, and charity drives, bringing warmth and energy to our centre. Each term, we also invite parents into the classroom for storytelling, cooking, and skill-sharing, deepening the connection between home and school.
Honouring Children’s Voices
At E-Bridge Pre-School Upper Serangoon, we view children as capable thinkers with unique perspectives. Through our inquiry-based approach, children explore ideas using a wide range of materials — from clay and loose parts to paint and natural elements — to represent their thoughts and tell their stories.
We capture their learning journey through photos, quotes, and documentation that highlight the process of learning — making their thinking visible and meaningful.
Building Social Awareness Through Community
We’re proud to nurture children who care. Our partnerships with organisations like St. Luke’s ElderCare, CPAS, Singapore Children’s Society, and Assisi Hospice provide rich opportunities for children to engage with the wider community.
From donation drives to collaborative projects, these experiences foster empathy, purpose, and a sense of contribution — helping children understand the impact they can have in the world around
them.
Recognised for Innovation, Impact, and Community
At E-Bridge Pre-School Upper Serangoon, our commitment to innovative and inclusive teaching practices has earned us recognition — including SPARK Certification and a nomination for the ECDA Awards Outstanding Centre for Teaching and Learning in 2023.
We strive to make a meaningful impact through ongoing professional learning. From sharing our action research at educational symposiums to organising family-centred events, we believe in extending our knowledge beyond the classroom. Our active participation in community projects also reinforces our dedication to holistic learning, strong relationships, and meaningful connections within and beyond our school walls.
Come Discover the Difference
At E-Bridge Pre-School Upper Serangoon, learning is more than academics — it’s about building relationships, nurturing voices, and growing as a community. Visit us and experience how we journey together, every day.
Learning Stories

We introduce fabric as an uncommon material to inspire curiosity and creativity among the children. They eagerly explore different textures and manipulate shapes, leading to exciting discoveries. Through imaginative play, the children create a “fabric forest,” taking on roles and building narratives together, which highlights their natural curiosity and problem-solving skills.
The children also explore fabric through various mediums, from using digital microscopes to taking part in sewing workshops with their parents. They marvel at unique patterns and experiment with dyeing techniques. These hands-on experiences develop fine motor skills and foster a deeper appreciation for creativity, memories, and collaboration.

Dear Me Zeha and Zhang laoshi,
I am very thankful for you both in taking such good care of Charise.
I benefited from my conversation with you both about Charise’s progress and the things I need to work with her on. You gave me specific tasks to do and explore with her so as to improve in her speaking as well as motor skills.
I’m sure many parents like me are very grateful and we appreciate your hard work.
Thank you teachers for your hard work 🙂 And also to He laoshi and Ms Huda who also took care of the kids. And if I missed out on any teacher assistant for the class.
I would also like to thank Ms Nora (admin), who always gives a big bright smile whenever we send Charise to school. Her presence makes a difference with the children in school.
Thank you once again!
