Learning Stories

Learning Story: Discovering Leaves Through Light and Shadow

The children explored leaves in a new way using a projector. After collecting leaves during their nature walk, they placed them on the projector and watched as the shapes appeared enlarged on the wall.

They observed details like veins, edges, and shadows. Some children commented that the lines looked like roads or hands. They compared different leaf shapes and textures with curiosity.

This hands-on experience encouraged observation and discussion, helping the children see everyday natural objects in a new light while building appreciation for nature’s beauty and diversity.
