The Language of Paper:
Inspiring Curiosity and Connection in Infant Learning

We’ve introduced inquiry-based teaching for infants (6-18 months) through the simple, versatile medium of paper. This approach transforms everyday paper into an engaging, sensory-rich experience, sparking curiosity and active exploration among even our youngest learners.

As the infants explored, paper became more than a texture—it became a social catalyst, encouraging them to observe and respond to each other’s discoveries. These shared experiences nurtured a sense of community, inviting infants to connect and communicate in gentle, powerful ways.

To expand this sensory journey, we introduced light, adding a new dimension that captivated the children’s attention and ignited fresh waves of wonder. Observing each child’s unique interaction with light and paper provided us with valuable insights into their individual interests and ways to deepen their learning experience.

“The Language of Paper” project showcases how simple materials can foster early connections, creativity, and cooperative play, setting a foundation for future learning in a dynamic and interactive environment.
