What Makes E-Bridge Pre-School Compassvale Drive Special?
Small in size, big on discovery.
A Cosy, Community-Centred Environment
Nestled in a friendly neighbourhood, E-Bridge Pre-School Compassvale Drive offers a warm, close-knit environment where curiosity and creativity flourish. From Infant Care to Kindergarten 2, we support children through each stage of their early years with care, purpose, and joy.
Learning Beyond Classroom Walls
With direct access to nearby playgrounds and nature trails, children enjoy daily opportunities to explore beyond the classroom — turning everyday moments into meaningful learning experiences.
Guided-Inquiry in Every Corner
Though we’re a smaller centre, our learning experiences are rich and intentional. Our guided-inquiry approach empowers children to ask questions, investigate ideas, and co-construct understanding through hands-on discovery. Educators thoughtfully design classroom setups that spark curiosity and encourage meaningful exploration.
Nature as Our Co-Teacher
At E-Bridge Pre-School Compassvale Drive, we bring the outside world into our classrooms. Through learning experiences like planting, nature walks, and sensory play with open-ended materials, children develop a deep connection with their environment — and a lifelong love for learning.
A Strong Partnership with Parents and Community
We believe that learning is most impactful when it’s shared. Families and community members play an active role — whether through volunteering, sharing materials, or participating in collaborative projects that enrich children’s explorations.
Our Pillars of Practice
The Neighbourhood is Our Classroom
We use our surroundings — including parks and public spaces — as vibrant extensions of our learning environment.
Small Centre, Big Experiences
Every child is given the time and space to wonder, explore, and grow through guided-inquiry and hands-on experiences.
Bringing the World In
From planting seeds to exploring natural textures, we connect children with the world in authentic, tactile ways.
Learning Together with Families and Community
Parents and community partners are integral to our learning environment — offering resources, time, and ideas that support children’s development.
Curriculum Highlight
The 100 Languages of Children is integral to our preschool’s learning experiences, guiding our approach to fostering creativity and expression. In 2024, this philosophy became the cornerstone of our Practitioner Inquiry Project, where we celebrated and showcased the myriad ways children communicate and express their understanding of the world.
During the E-Bridge Teaching and Learning Symposium and our annual Celebration of Learning, we highlighted a diverse array of class projects and inquiry explorations that exemplified the children’s 100 Languages. From visual arts to dramatic play, each project reflected the unique perspectives and voices of our young learners, reinforcing our commitment to nurturing their individuality and imagination. Through these enriching experiences, we empower children to express themselves authentically and engage meaningfully with their surroundings.
Bilingual Environment
We proudly offer a rich bilingual environment with classes in Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil. Under the guidance and encouragement of Ms. Lega, our Tamil teacher, Jodha, an N1 Indian child, won the Motivation Prize in the 2024 Tamil Memorisation and Recitation Competition organised by the Tamil Language and Cultural Society.
Awards & Achievements
We are proud to announce that E-Bridge Pre-School Compassvale Drive has been awarded the ECDA Award for Outstanding Centre for Teaching and Learning 2024. This prestigious recognition highlights our unwavering commitment to excellence in early childhood education and our dedication to fostering a stimulating learning environment. The award reflects the hard work and passion of our educators, who continually strive to inspire curiosity and a love for learning in our children. It also reinforces our mission to provide quality education that nurtures the holistic development of every child in our care.
Learning Stories

We immerse children in real-life experiences to deepen their understanding of the world around them. After introducing the concept of “Change,” we took the children on a nature walk to observe transformations in their environment, such as shifts in colour, movement, and other natural elements. This hands-on exploration allowed them to connect their observations with how things change over time. A highlight of the walk was discovering a real-life caterpillar, sparking a lively discussion about how caterpillars transform into butterflies and reinforcing their understanding of growth and change in the natural world.
The children enjoyed an engaging outdoor storytelling session featuring The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The outdoor setting added a sensory-rich dimension, making the story more meaningful. Surrounded by plants and insects, children could visually connect with the caterpillar’s journey. Teachers encouraged them to join in by mimicking the caterpillar’s actions, like pretending to munch on leaves, which deepened their engagement. This immersive experience helped the children make real-world connections with the story, fostering creativity and a love for nature.
As part of their exploration of “Change,” children were invited indoors and outdoors to discuss the changing weather. Through observing the shifting skies, feeling temperature differences, and noting how these changes affect our environment, the session encouraged curiosity. Teachers shared stories about different seasons, discussing how weather impacts daily life, and invited the children to share their own experiences. Activities like cloud-watching helped foster their understanding of how change is a natural part of the world.
The K1 children engaged in an ice-melting experiment to explore scientific concepts in a playful way. Taking turns, they experimented with various tools to speed up the melting process, using salt, warm water, and a hair dryer. They watched in awe as salt made the ice crackle and melt faster and marveled at how warm water quickly turned the ice into puddles. When they tried the hair dryer, their excitement grew as they observed the ice melting faster than expected. This hands-on experience deepened their curiosity and understanding of scientific concepts, turning learning into a fun and meaningful journey.
Hear From Our Parents
ThankIt has been 2 years since I enrolled my twin boys to your childcare centre and they are 4 this year! I cannot express enough love and gratitude to the staff at E-Bridge Bukit Batok, specifically to the teachers (Ms Audrey, Fu Lao Shi, Ms Nur and Ming Lao Shi) who have personally taken care of my boys since the very beginning. Thank you for helping to mold and influence my boys in such a positive and loving atmosphere.
The staff not only provided my boys with the support they need with constant patience and understanding, but also allowed me and my husband to return to work with ease, knowing that my boys were cared for. The teachers are also patience in answering our queries and did not once, they felt hesitant to update us on my boys performance or progress in school.
We couldn’t have asked for a better childcare centre to guide, teach and love our little boys!
Thank you so much for being with us.

Our sincerest appreciation to every staff at E-Bridge Westridges especially to Ms Nabilah, Ms Cory, Minyi Laoshi and Hueiyi Laoshi for their love, dedication and passion in developing our child and to Ms Sallini for her leadership excellence with the A* team at E-Bridge Westridges,
“It takes a village to raise a child” an African proverb. Our child is very blessed to have been raised in this nurturing village throughout his entire preschool journey. Everyone from the admin to the school attendant to the principal to all the teachers at E-Bridge Westridges demonstrated the meaning of 十年树木,百年树人 in their pursuit for excellence in educating and nurturing every child by working together to ensure the holistic development and well-being of every child entrusted to them.
We are so glad that our child started his journey of a thousand mile with E-Bridge Westridges. As he graduates and takes off into the future, we want to express our sincerest heartfelt appreciation to each and every staff at E-Bridge Westridges for being the greatest partner in education throughout our child’s formative years.

When our son first started IFC at E-Bridge Bukit Batok West, we were anxious like how first-time parents would be. Our reservations were quickly put to rest by the professional and caring demeanor of all the teaching and administrative staff at school.
On top of being passionate and supportive, the teachers also maintain good communication with us. They provide a nurturing and conducive environment for the children to receive a holistic education while having fun in school. There is emphasis placed on not just academic work, but also engaging activities that focus on physical and social emotional development of the children.
Our son has grown to be a creative, independent and confident young boy who cares deeply about others and the environment. He always has positive things to share at the end of the day. We will always be gratuitous towards E-Bridge for the foundation our child has received.
