What Makes E-Bridge Pre-School Canberra Special?
Where creativity meets sustainability, one language at a time
A Creative Space Inspired by the 100 Languages of Children
At E-Bridge Pre-School Canberra, we believe every child has a voice — not just one, but a hundred. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy of the 100 Languages of Children, our classrooms nurture the many ways children express their ideas, emotions, and understanding of the world.
Each classroom is thoughtfully curated around a specific ‘language’ of material, offering hands-on opportunities that support different learning styles and developmental stages. From toddlers to Kindergarten 2, children explore, question, and create with purpose.
Classrooms that Speak Volumes
The Language of Technology introduces younger children to tools such as cameras, overhead projectors, and projectors. They learn to capture everyday moments and turn them into visual stories — an early exploration of storytelling through media.
The Language of Paper invites children to experiment with paper in all its forms — folding, tearing, creating, and even making their own paper. These tactile experiences sharpen fine motor skills and spark imaginative thinking.
The Language of Mosaic offers a hands-on encounter with both 2D and 3D shapes. Children explore patterns, balance, and form using mosaic tiles — building not only structures but also teamwork and spatial awareness.
The Language of Light and Sound fascinates older children with mirrors, prisms, and musical instruments. In this space, science and art collide, allowing children to discover the beauty in cause and effect, rhythm, and reflection.
Fostering Creativity and Sustainability
At E-Bridge Pre-School Canberra, creativity is not just an outcome — it’s a responsibility. We champion sustainability by using repurposed and natural materials, encouraging children to rethink, reuse, and respect their environment. Through their projects and play, children learn that their ideas and actions can shape a better world.
Bilingual Environment
We are a bilingual school offering English, Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil. This rich linguistic environment nurtures confident communicators who appreciate cultural diversity from an early age.
Awards and Achievements
We are honoured to receive the prestigious SPARK commendation from ECDA. This esteemed recognition highlights our unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality early childhood education and our passion for nurturing young minds. We take pride in creating an enriching environment that fosters growth, creativity, and holistic development, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
Engaging Families and Community
At Canberra, we prioritise strong partnerships with families and our local community to enrich children’s learning journeys. Our educators extend learning beyond the classroom by organising a variety of outdoor activities, exploring the neighbourhood, and planning enriching excursions.
Family involvement is actively encouraged through collaborative projects, inviting parents to participate meaningfully in their child’s education. We partner with community organisations such as the National Library Board (NLB), which regularly donates books to support our educational resources. Our food drives engage families in donating staple foods to those in need, instilling values of generosity and social responsibility in our young learners.
Furthermore, our collaboration with the Residents’ Committee (RC) for the community garden was celebrated with its opening by Minister Ong Ye Kung on 10 November 2024. These partnerships provide valuable resources and learning opportunities while strengthening the bond between educators, families, and local partners — creating a supportive and interconnected community where children thrive.
A Place to Discover, Create, and Grow
Whether discovering a new material, sharing a story through light and sound, or building something from scratch, every day at Canberra is filled with meaningful moments. Our educators support and extend children’s ideas, co-creating a vibrant learning journey grounded in respect, wonder, and connection.
Come Explore the Difference
At E-Bridge Pre-School Canberra, we don’t just teach — we listen, observe, and grow alongside our children. Come and see how a classroom of possibilities can spark a world of learning.
Learning Stories

Learning Story: How Can We Make Water Cleaner?
To spark curiosity, the teacher first invited the children to observe a cup of muddy water and asked, “How can we make the water cleaner? What materials can help us filter it?” In small groups, the children experimented with materials like filter paper, tissue, and sand to observe how water changes during filtration.
The children were fully engaged—carefully pouring water, adjusting materials, and comparing results. Some tried different combinations, while others collaborated closely, sharing tools and ideas. After the experiment, they gathered to discuss which method worked best.
Zou Yuling exclaimed, “The water is black—we can’t drink this!”
Chen Xingyu said, “I want to try this paper to see if it works.”
Wang Yixin shouted, “Wow! It’s getting clear!”
Chen Kaien added, “It’s still not very clean—let’s try again!”
Zheng Jiali reminded, “We have to pour it slowly.”
Li Jiaxu observed, “It drips down and turns white!”
Zheng Jiale compared, “It’s like rainwater!”
Through observing, hypothesising, experimenting, and comparing, the children began to understand the concept of filtration. The hands-on experience encouraged teamwork, communication, and sparked a genuine interest in exploring natural phenomena.
Hear From Our Parents
ThankIt has been 2 years since I enrolled my twin boys to your childcare centre and they are 4 this year! I cannot express enough love and gratitude to the staff at E-Bridge Bukit Batok, specifically to the teachers (Ms Audrey, Fu Lao Shi, Ms Nur and Ming Lao Shi) who have personally taken care of my boys since the very beginning. Thank you for helping to mold and influence my boys in such a positive and loving atmosphere.
The staff not only provided my boys with the support they need with constant patience and understanding, but also allowed me and my husband to return to work with ease, knowing that my boys were cared for. The teachers are also patience in answering our queries and did not once, they felt hesitant to update us on my boys performance or progress in school.
We couldn’t have asked for a better childcare centre to guide, teach and love our little boys!
Thank you so much for being with us.

Our sincerest appreciation to every staff at E-Bridge Westridges especially to Ms Nabilah, Ms Cory, Minyi Laoshi and Hueiyi Laoshi for their love, dedication and passion in developing our child and to Ms Sallini for her leadership excellence with the A* team at E-Bridge Westridges,
“It takes a village to raise a child” an African proverb. Our child is very blessed to have been raised in this nurturing village throughout his entire preschool journey. Everyone from the admin to the school attendant to the principal to all the teachers at E-Bridge Westridges demonstrated the meaning of 十年树木,百年树人 in their pursuit for excellence in educating and nurturing every child by working together to ensure the holistic development and well-being of every child entrusted to them.
We are so glad that our child started his journey of a thousand mile with E-Bridge Westridges. As he graduates and takes off into the future, we want to express our sincerest heartfelt appreciation to each and every staff at E-Bridge Westridges for being the greatest partner in education throughout our child’s formative years.

When our son first started IFC at E-Bridge Bukit Batok West, we were anxious like how first-time parents would be. Our reservations were quickly put to rest by the professional and caring demeanor of all the teaching and administrative staff at school.
On top of being passionate and supportive, the teachers also maintain good communication with us. They provide a nurturing and conducive environment for the children to receive a holistic education while having fun in school. There is emphasis placed on not just academic work, but also engaging activities that focus on physical and social emotional development of the children.
Our son has grown to be a creative, independent and confident young boy who cares deeply about others and the environment. He always has positive things to share at the end of the day. We will always be gratuitous towards E-Bridge for the foundation our child has received.
