1. Inquiry Based Learning
Inquiry-based learning allows children to be actively engaged in the learning process, promoting the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. With a common goal of nurturing a love of learning, this approach values children’s curiosity and their hundred languages. By adopting inquiry-based learning, we provide opportunities for children to make connections with the world around them, developing positive learning dispositions such as perseverance, reflectiveness, and questioning. As they explore, children not only face challenges but also learn to solve problems in diverse environments. This approach fosters confidence and creativity while enhancing social skills, as children learn to share ideas, listen to peers, and work together enthusiastically. Ultimately, children with positive learning qualities are willing to learn from others and are empowered to embrace exploration.
2. Learning Environment
Our centre is actively integrating mindfulness practices into our children’s daily routines, recognising the important role they play in fostering calmness, focus, and emotional well-being in children. We believe that developing emotional regulation and self-awareness is essential to shaping compassionate, engaged members of our community. Each classroom features a dedicated mindfulness space thoughtfully curated by educators to resonate with the unique needs and interests of their children, making mindfulness a meaningful and personal experience.
In these spaces, our educators and children take time to engage in calming learning experiences that help transform classrooms into safe, nurturing environments. By weaving mindfulness into their everyday routines, we aim to nurture learners who connect deeply with themselves and are prepared to engage thoughtfully with the world around them.
3. Bilingual Environment
To cultivate culturally competent global citizens from a young age, our centre offers immersive programmes in Mandarin and Tamil, led by dedicated educators like Ms Nivetha. Through engaging learning experiences and a vibrant bilingual setting, we support children in developing a deep appreciation for their mother tongue and diverse cultures, building both linguistic skills and cultural understanding.
4. Engaging Families and Community
Parent engagement is a cornerstone of our quality education programme. We believe that working closely with parents enhances each child’s educational journey, supporting their growth and development in meaningful ways. To foster this partnership, we offer numerous opportunities for parents to actively participate in their child’s learning and celebrate important milestones together.
Our Parent Support Group empowers parents to volunteer and become actively involved in the school community, sharing a closer connection to their child’s learning experiences. Through the support group, parents play prominent roles in organising and participating in events and experiences, from Messy Play Day to Children’s Day, outdoor adventures, and learning journeys.
These events have become vibrant, collaborative experiences. For Messy Play Day, for example, parents helped create stations for hands-on exploration, including experiences like shaving foam play, water and sand stations, homemade rainbow volcanoes, bubble wrap prints, and finger painting. Thanks to their involvement, children were able to fully immerse in creative and sensory play, discovering the joy of learning through fun and exploration.
By empowering parents and caregivers as part of the learning journey, we cultivate a community that uplifts not only children but also those who support them, creating a strong foundation for lifelong learning and growth.
Learning Stories

Learning Story: Fun with Clay
Children were inspired to represent Henri Matisse’s artwork using clay, transitioning from their earlier 2D painting and drawing explorations to creating in three dimensions.
They began by using their senses to explore the clay—feeling its texture, observing its look, and noticing its scent. The children experimented with manipulating the clay using their hands and different tools, discovering various techniques. As they grew confident, each child created a unique piece that reflected their own creativity and individuality.
This hands-on experience supported the development of fine motor skills and allowed children to express themselves in a new form. During the Celebration of Learning, parents had the opportunity to explore clay themselves, gaining a deeper understanding of their children’s learning process.

Dear Me Zeha and Zhang laoshi,
I am very thankful for you both in taking such good care of Charise.
I benefited from my conversation with you both about Charise’s progress and the things I need to work with her on. You gave me specific tasks to do and explore with her so as to improve in her speaking as well as motor skills.
I’m sure many parents like me are very grateful and we appreciate your hard work.
Thank you teachers for your hard work 🙂 And also to He laoshi and Ms Huda who also took care of the kids. And if I missed out on any teacher assistant for the class.
I would also like to thank Ms Nora (admin), who always gives a big bright smile whenever we send Charise to school. Her presence makes a difference with the children in school.
Thank you once again!

E-bridge has helped ease my concerns on my daughter’s social being before she joins in. The staff are friendly, polite and always keep me updated on my daughter’s progress. Whenever there is an issue to be addressed, staff will be more than willing to help.
My daughter is able to communicate with me better, thanks to the things she has learned with E-bridge. She looks forward to school everyday.
Thank you to E-Bridge @ Matilda for doing your best in nurturing the children under your care.

“In general, my children have a passion to learn and I credit that to the efforts of their E-Bridge in spurring their interest.
Before COVID-19, there were many engaging face-to-face activities planned that were fun for kids and parents alike. Truly grateful to the teachers for their hard work!”

We have switch Kate through a few schools, and this is the only school that Kate feels comfortable with, very much because of the dedicated and patient teachers. They are professional in every sense. Emails and reminders are timely and informative.
Every teacher know each and every students by name, the class form teacher would give updates every term on the development of the child. I would definitely recommend E-Bridge School(Sengkang) to parents who are looking for a fun, caring and conducive environment for their child.
