1. Inquiry Based Learning

Inquiry-based learning allows children to be actively engaged in the learning process, promoting the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. With a common goal of nurturing a love of learning, this approach values children’s curiosity and their hundred languages. By adopting inquiry-based learning, we provide opportunities for children to make connections with the world around them, developing positive learning dispositions such as perseverance, reflectiveness, and questioning. As they explore, children not only face challenges but also learn to solve problems in diverse environments. This approach fosters confidence and creativity while enhancing social skills, as children learn to share ideas, listen to peers, and work together enthusiastically. Ultimately, children with positive learning qualities are willing to learn from others and are empowered to embrace exploration.

2. Learning Environment

Our centre is actively integrating mindfulness practices into our children’s daily routines, recognising the important role they play in fostering calmness, focus, and emotional well-being in children. We believe that developing emotional regulation and self-awareness is essential to shaping compassionate, engaged members of our community. Each classroom features a dedicated mindfulness space thoughtfully curated by educators to resonate with the unique needs and interests of their children, making mindfulness a meaningful and personal experience.

In these spaces, our educators and children take time to engage in calming learning experiences that help transform classrooms into safe, nurturing environments. By weaving mindfulness into their everyday routines, we aim to nurture learners who connect deeply with themselves and are prepared to engage thoughtfully with the world around them.

3. Bilingual Environment

To cultivate culturally competent global citizens from a young age, our centre offers immersive programmes in Mandarin and Tamil, led by dedicated educators like Ms Nivetha. Through engaging learning experiences and a vibrant bilingual setting, we support children in developing a deep appreciation for their mother tongue and diverse cultures, building both linguistic skills and cultural understanding.

4. Engaging Families and Community

Parent engagement is a cornerstone of our quality education programme. We believe that working closely with parents enhances each child’s educational journey, supporting their growth and development in meaningful ways. To foster this partnership, we offer numerous opportunities for parents to actively participate in their child’s learning and celebrate important milestones together.

Our Parent Support Group empowers parents to volunteer and become actively involved in the school community, sharing a closer connection to their child’s learning experiences. Through the support group, parents play prominent roles in organising and participating in events and experiences, from Messy Play Day to Children’s Day, outdoor adventures, and learning journeys.

These events have become vibrant, collaborative experiences. For Messy Play Day, for example, parents helped create stations for hands-on exploration, including experiences like shaving foam play, water and sand stations, homemade rainbow volcanoes, bubble wrap prints, and finger painting. Thanks to their involvement, children were able to fully immerse in creative and sensory play, discovering the joy of learning through fun and exploration.

By empowering parents and caregivers as part of the learning journey, we cultivate a community that uplifts not only children but also those who support them, creating a strong foundation for lifelong learning and growth.
