Curriculum

What is your curriculum and how is it different from other schools?

At E-Bridge, our curriculum is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, emphasising inquiry-based learning. Children are encouraged to explore, question, and discover through hands-on experiences in a stimulating environment. Unlike traditional rote learning methods, we focus on nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. Each child’s unique interests and abilities are valued and supported to build a lifelong love for learning.

E-Bridge Pre-School is part of the EtonHouse International Education Group but operates as a distinct entity. While both share a child-centred philosophy, E-Bridge is an Anchor Operator appointed by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), focusing on making quality preschool education accessible and affordable for all families in Singapore. The curriculum at E-Bridge is aligned with Singapore’s early childhood frameworks while incorporating international best practices.

At E-Bridge, we offer a multilingual programme in English, Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil. This approach supports early language acquisition and cultural understanding, helping children appreciate Singapore’s diverse linguistic heritage. Our language-rich environment allows children to engage in all four languages through learning experiences, fostering bilingualism and multilingualism in a natural, immersive setting.

Outdoor learning is an essential part of our curriculum. We believe nature is a powerful teacher, and our children regularly explore outdoor spaces to develop their curiosity and observation skills. Outdoor experiences promote physical well-being, encourage risk-taking, and foster a connection with the natural world. Learning experiences include nature walks, gardening, sensory play, and art inspired by the environment.

E-Bridge provides enrichment programmes as part of our holistic approach to education. These may include music and movement, art exploration, and physical activities that extend children’s learning beyond the core curriculum. Programmes vary across centres and are designed to cater to children’s interests.

Our curriculum equips children with essential skills for a smooth transition to primary school. We focus on building their social-emotional competencies, self-confidence, and problem-solving abilities. Literacy and numeracy concepts are introduced in engaging, meaningful ways, ensuring children develop a solid foundation while maintaining a love for learning.

Pre-School Care and Routine

What kind of meals are served?

At E-Bridge, we ensure that every child enjoys nutritious and balanced meals. Some centres have meals catered, while others have an in-house cook. We provide breakfast, lunch, and tea breaks, with a menu carefully crafted by our in-house chef. Our chef prepares a variety of healthy options to cater to children’s dietary needs and preferences, including a balanced mix of fruits, vegetables, proteins, and whole grains to support their growth and development.

Our approach to behavior management is rooted in respect, kindness, and positive reinforcement. We encourage children to express themselves appropriately and work collaboratively to solve conflicts. Our educators use clear communication, set reasonable expectations, and guide children to understand the consequences of their actions. We foster a nurturing environment that teaches self-regulation, empathy, and responsibility while helping children develop healthy social skills.

The safety and well-being of our children are of utmost importance. We adhere to stringent safety protocols and ensure that all staff members are trained in first aid and child protection procedures. Our facilities are designed with child safety in mind, and we maintain secure access control systems to protect the children. Regular risk assessments are conducted, and our educators are always vigilant in monitoring the children’s well-being throughout the day.

The settling-in period can vary from child to child. Generally, children may take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to feel comfortable in a new environment. Our educators work closely with parents to create a smooth transition, offering support and reassurance to both children and families. We also have a flexible settling-in process that allows children to gradually adapt at their own pace.

Parent Communication

Will I get updates about my child's progress in school?

Yes, parents receive regular updates about their child’s progress through Little Lives, a parent communication platform. This platform provides a convenient way for educators to share observations, photos, and developmental milestones, keeping you informed and involved in your child’s learning journey.

Absolutely! At E-Bridge, parents are partners in their child’s learning journey. We encourage open communication and actively involve parents in various aspects of their child’s development. Through regular updates, parent-teacher meetings, and opportunities to participate in school events and learning experiences, parents are an integral part of their child’s education. We value your input and collaboration in supporting your child’s growth both at home and in school.

Teaching Team

What is the teacher-child ratio?

At E-Bridge, we maintain a low teacher-child ratio to ensure that each child receives the attention and support they need. The exact ratio may vary depending on the age group of the children, in line with the guidelines set by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). We always ensure that our classrooms are staffed appropriately to provide a nurturing and responsive learning environment.

Our educators are highly qualified and passionate about early childhood education. All of our teachers hold relevant qualifications, including diplomas or degrees in Early Childhood Education. In addition, we actively support their professional growth by sending them to workshops and training sessions to stay updated with the latest educational practices. We are committed to hiring dedicated professionals who share our values of fostering a child’s growth and development.

Yes, continuous professional development is a priority at E-Bridge. Our teachers regularly participate in training workshops, seminars, and courses to stay updated on the latest educational practices and research. We believe in fostering a culture of lifelong learning, and our educators are encouraged to develop new skills and enhance their teaching methods to provide the best learning experiences for the children.
