Learning Environment: The Third Teacher
At E-Bridge, we believe that the environment is the third teacher, inviting children’s hands-on engagement and inspiring their natural curiosity. Our aim is to create a homelike atmosphere where children feel safe, comfortable, and cosy, just like being at home. This nurturing environment encourages exploration, discovery, and a sense of belonging.

Through collaborative, hands-on experiences and infant-led exploration, we allow infants the freedom to discover their surroundings and develop at their own pace. Natural and open-ended materials are a key part of our approach, offering infants opportunities for exploration, creativity, and sensory experiences that support their physical, cognitive, and social development. These materials invite curiosity, allowing infants to thrive as they discover the world around them. Our approach emphasizes creating authentic learning environments that empower infants to explore, make connections, and build confidence in their abilities.
Every interaction is rooted in respect and responsiveness, allowing infants to build trusting relationships, feel secure, and confidently express their needs and ideas.
Thoughtfully Designed Learning Spaces
Our spaces, inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, are intentionally designed with carefully chosen materials. Each resource is selected with purpose, inspiring young learners to create, express themselves, and explore new possibilities. From natural elements to open-ended materials, every item is thoughtfully planned to ignite curiosity and support meaningful learning experiences.

The colours in our learning spaces are selected to create a neutral, homelike atmosphere, helping children feel safe, comfortable, and connected. The environment is designed to allow their artwork and learning to take centre stage, guiding and inspiring their journey of discovery. We believe that when children’s creations are prominently displayed, it encourages them to take ownership of their learning and fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment.
In each classroom, we have six distinct learning spaces to nurture different aspects of development:
1. Construction Space
2. Dramatic Space
3. Literacy Space
4. Numeracy Space
5. Art Space
6. Discovery Space
Some of our centres even feature unique names for these spaces, reflecting their special role in fostering creativity and exploration.
Empowering Learning Through Guided Inquiry
At E-Bridge Pre-School, our curriculum is built around guided inquiry, where children’s natural curiosity drives their learning journey. This approach empowers learners by placing them at the centre of their education, allowing them to explore, question, and discover. We believe that every child is a capable learner, and by guiding their inquiries, we nurture their ability to think critically, make connections, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
